Sleepy

Maybe it's the cooler weather, but it seems like Jeremy and I are even more sleepy than usual. Instead of playing, or waiting on the rug, I fell asleep on the bed while Mommy was in the shower this morning. Jeremy slept through pretty much the whole day. Maybe he's saving his energy for something...

twinks & lulu get baffs

Not only did I get a bath today, Twinkie and Lulu also suffered through bath time. Twinkie was not at all excited about her bath. Luckily she's small, so it didn't take very long.

It does take forever for them to get dry, unlike me, so Mommy helps out by blowing their fur dry. Lulu is enjoying the warm breeze, I think.

We have a third guinea pig visiting. Her name is Mocha. Twinkie likes her a little too much, so she has to stay in her own cage when she visits. What's the fun of that? The best part of having visitors is when you get to run around with them!

Will Sleep Anywhere

Not the most flattering picture of Daddy, I know, but it's a good illustration of my favorite places to sleep. They include: on Mommy, on Daddy, between Mommy and Daddy (not necessarily in that order).

Especially now that it's getting cooler outside, I have a crazy urge to snuggle. Snuggle!

Why I am Better

People are always saying Jeremy looks like a puppy, especially when he has his hair cut short. Well, I think he looks like an old man. See exhibit A:

While I, Pixie the Grand, truly look like a puppy. An adorable one at that.

All of this on top of the fact that I don't eat out of the garbage.

Smatterday

Here's a picture me, getting ready to work on my world-famous blog. Cute, aren't I?

Jeremy got into trouble for eating the garbage again. Dummy. Also, on Thursday we got our hair cut. Unfortunately the groomers left a little too much poof on top for my taste, but Mommy said she might try to turn it into a mohawk.

When Kitty was asked her opinion, she said, "Don't interrupt me while I'm communicating with the Mother Ship!"

Daddy & Jerms

One minute they're smooching & lovey-dovey...

The next minute: I Will Eat You!

Ike-iversary

On Sunday night, Mommy and Daddy went over to the neighbors' Ike-iversary party. Jeremy and I felt very left out, especially since my BFF (Jeremy's GF) was allowed to run around and play with everybody.

Mommy did take me over toward the end, but by then Lulu had gone inside. I walked around and said hello to the people and went home again. What a rip-off!

Why Won't Somebody Play With Me?!

Sit right down and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a bored poodle...

So I was playing fetch with Mommy when Bunny decided to get in on the action, distracting her from throwing Clifford.

Then Kitty recognized a good thing, distracting Mommy even further.

What does a girl have to do to get her toy thrown around here?

Ohhhhh, now I get it.

Kitchen Shark

That's what Mommy calls me when I swarm around her feet while she is cooking. I can detect food falling and get to it before Jeremy if I stay right next to-behind-in front of her.

Sometimes she says, "NO! You can't have that," but everything else I eat.

This was my most recent score. Mommy just laughed when she saw me eating it and a few minutes later (urrrrpp!) I know why.

BunPup

Bunny's visit a little disappointing. She caught some itchy crud at the dog park and hasn't been feeling quite up to sniff (haha). Actually she's starting to be better today and I have high hopes for the weekend.

I kind of miss my puppy.

Even though I only had her for a day, we had such a great time playing.

More Fun

So we went to visit Snow on Sunday. Mommy brought the camera but we didn't take any pictures because we were busy playing and eating. We chased and played with Patrick and tried to get Daddy to drop crumbs. Patrick was eating baby food, so no crumbs from him this time.

In an hour or so Bunny is coming to visit. She's going to be here for a whole week! I am so excited.

This is a picture of Bunny and me playing in our pool earlier this summer.

I Have a Puppy

She is very cute and playful. Mommy is calling her Tina.

Yesterday my BFF Lulu's daddy got bitten by a pitbull and had to have elebenty stitches. Ouch! The pitbull and Tina had been running around the neighborhood together before Pitty bit Lulu's dad. Then Tina followed Lulu home to make sure she was okay and we kept her at our house so she didn't have to go to puppy jail (Ed. note: Animal Control). Daddy and Lulu's dad tried to take her home this morning, but her owners said she didn't belong to them.

I asked Daddy if we could keep her but he said no, she'd have to be adopted by somebody with more space or fewer pets. Oh well.

Lazy Caturday

It's what hoomans call a "long weekend", which means that instead of rushing around mowing the lawn, running, or cleaning the house, Mommy and Daddy are hanging out in the office drinking coffee. We are all taking advantage of that.

Here is me sleeping underneath Daddy as he works on a computer.

Here is Jeremy lying on the couch with Mommy.

Here is Kitty getting a kiss.

The Cruelest Day

Yesterday, Mommy came home like usual and took us for a walk. Then she fed us, but it was way early. We didn't complain, though. Then she changed her clothes and left. She left! She didn't come back again until almost bedtime. At regular dinnertime Daddy showed up and I begged him to play with me.

Jeremy just wanted him to sit down so he could cuddle. It's hard to see, but that's what he's doing in this picture.

Today was better.
