Monkey

Monkeys make the best toys.  I always try to keep one around.  This is my latest monk monk acquisition, replacing my 2 or 3 legged monkey.  I take him to Mommy so she'll throw him, then I bring him back, we tug, and so on.  Sometimes Mommy forgets to throw and I get tired.

Luckily, this monkey makes an excellent pillow!

Early Bunny Visit

Mommy and Daddy are not on vacation yet, but Auntie Nessa came over to tell us about her first day of school.  She's teaching people all about Pirosophy and Pethics, which I think is all about treating animals correctly.  No idea what Pirosophy is!  Anyway, I was so happy to see her (and NOT jealous that Bunny was on her lap) that I got all snuggly buggly.

Vacation Soon

Mommy and Daddy go away sometimes.  Usually they leave us with various friends, but this time Auntie Nessa is coming to stay with us.  I'm trying not to think about it because I hate it when Mommy goes away, especially when she takes Daddy with her.  However, if Auntie Nessa stays with us, Bunny will also be here.  Yay!

Dear inteernet, i wanted to tell you about my owie tummy.  daddy took me oto the hospital a few weeks ago beauase i wa spuking and puking.  in order to see what was wrong, they shaved my belly.  it's growing back, but mommy calls it my bikini.  The other night auntie val was rubbing my belly and mommy took a cpicture.  See?

Fajitas!

Uncle Dave and Auntie Val came over last night for dinner.  It smelled yummy, although we didn't really get much.  Hmmph!  However, we did get lots of snuggle times.  Here's me with Auntie Val:

Walkies

Mommy came out and snapped some pics of us finishing our walk this morning.  Yes, this is our usual state: me, with pinecone; Rosie staring off into the distance because she's blind; Jeremy licking his lips. 

Right after that we came home for breakfast, so I am now happy and playing with my octopus.

The Vet

I visited the vet yesterday.  At first I was happy because I got to go for a car ride with Mommy and visit the building where I see other dogs.  But then...they took me in a little room and started poking and grabbing me.  I tried to be calm, but it was scary, especially the shots and the vampire part. 

Mommy stayed with me and protected me.  Then she let me use the camera!

I made friends with all the ladies there.  They petted me a lot and called me cute, so I guess it was not all bad.

Oh, Possum!

Mommy comes home smelling delicious sometimes.  When we go outside at night to bark-bark and pee-pee, we often smell an animal up on the fence.  Daddy said it is called an opossum.  I swear I smelled the same smell on Mommy.  She also had some paint on her.

Pets

Mommy, can I get a turtle?  I like the tiny wet ones:

I promise I would change their water and feed them...tiny fish? 

Or we could get a bigger land turtle.  They have pretty patterns:

Melty Me

Houston in the summer is hot.  After walkies, we eat dinner, but I'm too hot.  I have to drink cold water, lie on the floor and pant for a while.  The other night I was still hot at sleepytimes.  While cuddling with Daddy, I melted.
