Grandpa

Grandpa likes to play!  We tugged and he threw my toys for me a lot.  It was wonderful.

I also helped him read his book.  Want to see?

Poor, Deprived Me

Sometimes minutes, even hours go by without anyone petting me.  It's criminal, I tell you.  We had friends over on Friday night and I took advantage of extra laps.

Mr. Tom didn't seem to mind.

I'm an Engineering Assistant

Daddy's really working hard these days.  Since I appreciate the fact that his work pays for my food, I help as much as I can.

If you look closely, you can see me helping him review documents:

I also kept his chair warm when he got up to go to the bathroom:

Actually that second one is from when I was helping him watch TV in the morning.  Either way, it's hard to do anything around here with my help!

Car Rides

Daddy likes to tease us with this phrase of things we love: Car Ride Treat Walk!

Today we got a fun car ride with Mommy!  We just went a little way to a funny window that talked and gave us plastic bottles, but the ride itself was awesome.  Here's a selfie:

See how happy I am?

Also, Mommy put on the heat (it's cold!) and put the window down so Jeremy could sniff:

Mmmm...outside smells!  Did you get a car ride treat walk today?

Resting Up

In between visitors and holidays, I'm resting.  On Sunday, after Aunt Laura left, I rested with Daddy:

Look how adorable I am!

and today, before our family of guests arrive this weekend and the workmen arrive at 9am and I go to the vet at 11am, I worked in some serious snoozes:

Thanksgiving Break is Awesomes!

Another great thing about Thanksgiving is that people stay home from work to play or snooze with me.  Auntie Nessa has been over a couple of times, which makes me sooooo happy!

You should see how happy I get--my whole back end wiggle woggles!

Auntie Laura Auntie Laura Auntie Laura

Here she is without me.

And here she is with me.  Much better, right?

Daddy!

Daddy is the best!  Daddy's chair is the best!  Mommy won't let me sit in her chair very often, so POHB.

Let's play spot the Pixie:

Yup, that's me, slid right in between Daddy's leg and the arm of the chair.  Believe me, it's the most comfortable spot in the world.  Here's another angle:

I get extra good sleepy times in Daddy's squishy chair.

You may be wondering where Jeremy is.  Wonder no more:

He's got Daddy's back.

Side Eye

You know when someone says something that's really ridiculous?  Like "You don't need all of these toys, do you Pixie?"

Well, the proper response to such foolishness is of course the patented Side Eye.  Not familiar with it?  I'll give you a visual:

And here it is close up:

Spa Day

We had a mini spa day last weekend.  The best part: no baths!  I hate baths, icky patooie.  I did get my toenails cut, which I do not like, but Daddy did it pretty quickly and I got treats afterwards.  No more old lady nails!

Jeremy got a blow out, I mean Mommy brushed his fur all pretty, and his nails done.  He squirmed a lot during nail time, so I got to feel superior.  Here's Jeremy sitting in front of the window with his glowing white fur:

and another.  Fur-hance:

No pictures for this part, because it's hard to capture laryngitis.  The tree guys came yesterday and Jeremy barked for at least half an hour.  It was loud!  After they left, Jeremy felt so tired that he took himself  back to bed and slept for a few hours.

Mommy?

Is this...Mommy?

My Costume!

Mommy tried on my costume today.  The good news is it fits:

and it has a cool lion thingy on the back!

But I don't like the hood.

I can't see or hear very well.  That makes me unhappy.

Luckily it comes with a toy!
But I couldn't convince Mommy to play with it.  After this next picture, she hid it away and I can't find it anywhere.  No fair!

Daddy's Birthday Party

Mommy threw Daddy a Lego birthday party.  All of our friends came over to play Lego, but they also played with Structure, a wooden block set.  It was my job to guard it, which you can see I was really excited about:

Luckily Lulu came over soon after that and the boys started dropping stuff on the floor, so things picked up.

Sicky Icky

Jeremy's gurgly tummy woke us up this morning.  We walked, then Mommy gave us food, but Jeremy didn't eat his.  What?!  Jeremy is the biggest piggy, so he must be sick.

Daddy's tummy also feels bad.  He and Jerms had some sicky time on the couch:

Still, Jeremy couldn't resist smiling for the camera.

Then we all went off to bed.  Honk-shoooo!

Dress Up

Mommy ordered costumes for me and Jeremy.  Jeremy's came yesterday and she tried them on us.  Jeremy looks awesome, and clearly enjoys his bow tie!

Here's one where you can see the tie a little better.

He's giving Mommy his winning smile.

I was not so excited about dressing up.

Mommy finally caught me NOT making a face...

...although I couldn't bring myself to smile.

Quiet Week

I've been enjoying a blissfully quiet week!  Little Maisie went back to her long-term foster mama on Sunday and then Mommy took me to PetSmart to buy a new toy (Maisie chewed up several of my old ones).  I was so excited that I peed on the floor at the store.

Today, though, a black doggy ran up to us during our walk.  Daddy put Jeremy's leash on him and brought him home, then Mommy called the number on his tag.  I was so happy that his owner came to pick him up a few minutes later.  He wanted to play, but he was big and scary.  He looked a lot like this:

I know, terrifying, right?  Anyway, I decided I needed to take a nap to relax.

Maisie

Mommy brought home a little Jeremy-like doggy named Maisie.  She's pretty crazy!  She doesn't like to go on walks, which I just can't understand.  Walks are the awesomest!

She does like belly rubs, and lying under the couch or Mommy's chair.

Today she stole my squirrel and squeaked it, but growled when I tried to play with her.  What's up with that?

So she's cute, but I think I'm ready for her to go home.

Rainy Days

Rainy days make me super sleepy.  I could barely keep my eyes open this morning, so Daddy let me snooze on his chair.

It's more comfortable than it looks, I promise.  Lulu's also taking a break from playing and is sleepytimes all over the place.  On each couch :

and also on the floor by Mommy's chair:

I think it's safe to say that everybody's having a good weekend.

Lunging with Lulu

Lulu's daddies left yesterday, so she came over to stay right after Snow's mom took her home.  Snow and Lulu do NOT get along, so they can't be in the same place without fighting.

I forgot how fun it is to play with Lulu, because she used to be one of Rosie's best friends and didn't play that much with me.  Since Rosie is gone, she has no choice.  I shouldn't feel happy about that, but I do anyway.  Playtime is besttime.

However, there's only a video of us playing on Mommy's phone and she doesn't know how to get it off, so here's a pic of Lulu watching TV.

Maybe Mommy will manage to get her camera out the next time we play!

Snow's Super Happy Fun Time

Snow's been here since Friday night and her mama's coming to get her this morning, so we made sure we played a lot last night and today.

We ran outside to chase squirrels:

but no squirrels.  I can't figure out why!  So we helped Mommy with the gardening instead (unfortunately Mommy didn't get a picture of Snow in her raised bed).

Mommy gave Snow lots of pets.

And then we played.

Actually, we're STILL playing!

How Snow Came Over

Mommy and Daddy went over to visit Patrick for his birthday.  He got a new crown kit and some shrinky dinks.  I don't know what those are, but I want some!  Also he got a circuit building kit from his parents:

He doesn't look too thrilled in this picture because Mommy and Daddy were leaving and he didn't want them to go, I think.  Anyway, it looks like they got a new doggy!

Haha!  It's just Henry, playing doggy.  Daddy got Snow ready and brought her home!

And we've been playing ever since.
