End of the Weekend

Yesterday was a very relaxed and sleepy day. Mommy took a break from working and we jumped on the chance to cuddle with her.

It was a cloudy, overcast day. Kitty spent a lot of time outside gathering data, which I think she sent off this morning.

Is she an alien, or a secret agent?

Gosh I've been tired lately. Yesterday I got to play a little bit with my neighborhood peeps, Lulu, Chuy and Sonny. However, I took advantage of the fact that Mommy let me off the leash in Auntie Diana and Amy's yard, which is full of acorns. I ate a whoooole lot of acorns. That might be why I woke Mommy up in the middle of the night puking. This is how I felt after that:

Yuck. I feel better today. I'm ready to eat more acorns and run around!

Bye Bye

Our first house guests are leaving soon.

I'll be sad and Kitty will really be sad! Uncle Dunky is good for snuggling and Auntie Laura is good for pets.

Oh well. Just one month until Snow comes to stay, so I have that to look forward to.

Tanksgiving Visitors

Mommy and Daddy had lots of friends over for noms yesterday.

My friends who came over were Bunny and Austin and Hunter.

Bunny turned into a vampire again for a short while but otherwise we had a great time waiting for turkey to fall on our heads.

Hunter ran around getting pets mostly and looking dumb.

Austin posed nice and everyone made fun of his butt, I mean his tail.

p.s. we didn't get any turkey, but we did get a couple of baked potato chips.

Me & Uncle Dunkie

Mommy and Daddy's friends Laura and Duncan came to visit. I guess they are staying for a while because they brought bags with them and they weren't bags of treats for us. Auntie Laura is a good aunt. She threw toys and played tug with me for a long time. Jeremy fell in love with Uncle Duncan. He crawled up on his lap and gazed into his eyes and whispered in his ear. Okay, that last part was made up but only a little bit.

I'm excited because Mommy says we get to visit Snow today, who is my other BFF and I miss her SO MUCH. Also, Patrick likes to drop food so that is a bonus.

The weather man is so 2009. See how he has to use doppler radar in order to "predict" the weather? Rube.

Cats can detect the slightest change in the atmosphere using our super sensitive whiskers.

Of course, we'd never share that information with humans.

No pictures today. I am in bad trouble for pooping on the floor. I think Daddy is really mad because I let Bunny take the heat on Friday for the same crime.

Mommy decided that we can't get our food before walkies anymore.

I didn't mean to poop, but I couldn't hold it any more.

More playtime? No, really, I'm too tired.

Oh, Bunny's playing? Okay then.

Bunny, get the Wubba!

She leaps like a gazelle to bring the Wubba back to Mommy. I love Bunny.

(Guest post from Jeremy)

I'm not sure why everyone is mooning around. After all, I'm the one who got in trouble today. I tried to eat everyone else's food because Mother did not feed me first this morning.

It should be obvious to everyone that I get fed first! Just look at that sauve, debonair face.

Hmmph. Cheer up, my b*tches, I command you!

Wet Friday

Someone, who shall remain nameless, got into trouble this morning and didn't want to have her picture taken.

We were all cute and wet from walking outside.

Maybe things will get better when we play and then Carmen comes over to play with us. She is the master of the vacuum!

Amputees Welcome

Poor Monkey has lost his arm.

His eye looks a bit worse for wear. Mommy and Daddy find little bits of him scattered around the living room.

I still love him. After long deliberation, he was the toy I chose to bring to Mommy for repeated tugging and throwing (which may explain his condition, come to think of it).

Those Dogs

Freaks. Crazies. Weirdos.

My esteemed colleagues, the Dogs, are currently obsessed with acorns and too busy to post. Pixie brought in one the size of a tanker truck and began to chew it. She abandoned it shortly thereafter and left it for Jeremy. He is currently destroying it, looking like a happy moron.

I am completely uninterested.

Why do the humans like to take pictures of us while we sleep?

Kitty sometimes chooses a spot with a makeshift pillow.

Daddy's shoes smell good and I feel safe tucked underneath them...

...until he wakes me up with the rude flash. Hilarious.

Piggy's Day

Okay, first of all it is tough to get pictures of the piggies in their cage. It is easier to take a picture of their cage.

Notice the painting hung over it to help them feel at home.

Last night I heard loud whistling from their direction and all I could see was both of them crowded tightly into their house. I wonder if it is getting too small for their giant butts. Here is a pic of Twinks peeking out of the house and Lulu's butt sticking out of a pipe.

Lulu is actually quite handsome, although not as cute as me. You can see her munching on hay that Daddy stuffed in her tube.

Generally the pigs are not that much fun, but our guests seem to enjoy investigating. While I've seen this in person, I can't find a picture. You will have to take my word for it.

Quick, Call Amnesty!

Daddy insisted my nails were too long. First he clipped them, then he ground them down with the worst invention ever conceived.

I am very angry right now. If I had a room, I would have slammed the door and cranked up my Lady GaGa.

Okay, my adoring public. Which one of us is cuter?

Is it Annika?

Is it Jeremy?

Or is it moi?

The piggies decided not to play.

Daddy and Clifford

Last night I was feeling very snuggly. I lay down with Daddy and Clifford.

Clifford and Daddy.

I asked Daddy for some kisses.

I am a happy dog.

100th Post

I am a prolific dog!

I am also a hungry dog. Jeremy and I wait patiently outside Kitty's room for her leftovers.

Jeremy dances down the hall (this doesn't catch it well, unfortunately).

Mommy puts down the scraps and then calls us sharks as we devour the entire teaspoon full of leftover kitty food. I lick the plate until no more taste is left.

Thursdays are good.

Joy of Squirrel

Everyone has his or her favorite morning ritual. Mommy likes coffee, fruit and the 'puter.

Gotta get the sclerruhmph...

Okay, toss it again!
