Embarrassing Photos

The kind of photos that make you go, "Oh, Mom! Ugh!" I am eminently photogenic, but every once in a while I'm captured in a less than flattering light. I think Mommy was trying to show off her new tea towel from Auntie Amy and Auntie Baba.

Oh gawd.

Daddy said "Awww"

Just to prove that I am an equal opportunity snuggler, here's a picture that Daddy took of me and Mommy a few nights ago:

Christmas Naps

We got so tired out from opening all of our presents that we had to take naps.

Jeremy took the rug:

Snow got the door:

I dogged the couch:

Saturday

Yesterday, Daddy buzzed off my side-mohawk and gave me a bath. I am so fluffy now!

Jeremy didn't get a bath, for which he was extremely grateful.

Kitty didn't give a damn.

Auntie Edit's Birthday

Auntie Edit had us over for playtimes this weekend. Mommy and Daddy ate lots of food, but we dogs only got whatever dropped on the floor. That's okay--I'm not sure I want to eat this anyway:

I did get some love and pets from Edit:

and from Dennis.

Jeremy had a blast playing with his girlfriend Rowen, but Mommy was too busy to get a photo of that this time.

Brisk-mas

Wintry blasts mean Mommy makes me wear my sweater on walks. Blech.

I love the Christmas tree, though. It is sparkly and lots of pretty toys dangle just out of reach.

I am so getting that stuffed reindeer baby that Mommy put up on the shelf!

Brrr!

I posit that cold, rainy days are made for snuggly sleeping. For evidence, I present exhibits A, B and C.

Still an Artist

Remember a while back when I showed you a picture I took? Well here's another one. Isn't it amazing? I think I should start looking for a gallery, right?

Snow, Come and Gone

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving! Snow arrive on Monday morning. Daddy fed us turkey on Thursday. We played all week. The only thing I don't like when Snow comes is that I get a little jealous and have to compete for snuggletimes with Mommy.
Here's me playing:

Funny Smell

Mommy and Daddy sent me to stay with Auntie Val and Uncle Dave. Auntie sent some photos but they are on Mommy's phone and I don't know how to get them here. Anyway, after an exhausting weekend, I came home for some snuggletime.

Mommy and Daddy smelled funny. Sort of like this:

Goats!

But also like this:

Where's My Baby?

Sometimes my toys get lost. No worries, with a little pointed staring and scratching on my part, Mommy usually gets the message. Occasionally I just think that a baby is under the couch and Mommy gets annoyed. I can't live without my toys!

Story

Mommy is writing a story about Jeremy.

I'm not jealous. Nope, not at all.

Pheww!

Today is "pheww" day all around. Yesterday we drove to the place where I lived before Mommy and Daddy brought me home. I felt nervous. Some other doggies came to visit us in our little cabana playground, but none of them wanted to play with me. I was scared that Mommy and Daddy might leave me there or that we might take home a mean or boring doggy. Finally, the four of us left. Relief! Daddy let us lick icy water from a big cup and Mommy gave us a little taste of onion ring batter on the way home, and I fell asleep.

This morning, Mommy sewed up my monkey and my sheep dog. I chewed the ear off of Sheep Dog when I was shaking her around. It was an accident, I swear! Monkey had a gash down his side and his squeaker was hanging out. Mommy fixed them both. What a great day!

Unca Dave

Last weekend, Daddy cooked up a bunch of meat and our friends came over to eat it. Miss Karen brought me a toy (pics to come) so I ran around playing with it all evening. Rosie settled down for some pets from Uncle Dave.

He talked about scooda, or spooba or something with his new friends. I fell asleep.

Undercover

I like to sleep under the covers. Last night, I slept under the covers all night, curled up by Mommy's feet. Early in the morning, I crawled up into her arms and drifted right back to sleep. Bliss.

This afternoon, Daddy invited me to nap with him.

Believe it or not, there are three of us under there. See?

Daddy rubbed my belly...

and Jeremy got jealous. Poor Jeremy!

This Weekend

I'm not feeling good, so let me entertain you with pictures of my family. Well, okay, since you insist, here's one of me sleeping with Daddy.

Jeremy likes our new rug. I think it's pretty, but wool is itchy.

Rosie says the sun makes her sore joints feel better, so she's catching some rays.

Annika needed to fill up on grass so she can yack it up later. Can't wait!

Hope your weekend is spectacular.

Saturday Snuggle

Sometimes I can't help it. I need to be as close to Daddy as doggly possible.

Flying Squirrel

I'm still playing with my flying squirrel, or at least its head...

I tried to entice Daddy to throw it.

Then I tried to get Mommy's attention.

More Cowbell

Last weekend, Snow's brothers came over to play. Henry played the slinky

and the cowbell.

Patrick played the slinky

and the guitar.

I played the couch.

New Toys

UncaDave brought a sack full of toys last weekend. They are all white and green, for some reason. Wasn't St. Patrick's Day a few months ago? Anyway, there is one toy that is like a sheep, but round and squeaky.

It is my favorite. I chase it and shake it but it is magic and I can never kill it. Yay!

Auntie Laura visiting

Auntie Laura came into town on Tuesday. Mommy had promised us lots of pets and playtime and we were not disappointed!

The sad part was that she had to visit other friends (friends with Dogs) and we stayed home. I sniffed Mommy's shorts for a good 10 minutes after she came home from Auntie Michelle's house. Her dogs smell giant and fun!
