Aunties and Cousins

Auntie Kimmer and Auntie Amy came to visit for Thanksgiving. That's the holiday where everyone comes over and Auntie Kate makes turkey. Sometimes we get a little bit and for that we are truly grateful.

During their visit, the aunties and Mommy went out to look at birds.

I prefer chasing birds, but that's probably why I had to stay home. They also some some other animals, like a lizard

and some coyote(?) poop.

I think that coyotes are my cousins but I haven't ever seen one in dog, so I'm not 100% sure.

Looking and Snoozing

This is my new favorite hangout. The big pillows of the red couch are so comfy and large enough for me to curl up. I can also keep an eye on the action outside, in case a squirrel wanders by, for instance. I also like to sit here when Mommy is due home, so I can see her walking down the sidewalk from the bus. She always waves at me.

Cookies

At Christmas time, Auntie Kate and Auntie Karen came over and made the house smell really good. Luckily, they all spilled a little bit and we got a taste or two. After many hours, the smells came out of the oven as cookies. Rosie and Jeremy liked them so much that they stole some from the counter one night and got in a lot of trouble. I think Cookie-mas is my new favorite holiday.

Twinkie's Treats

Mommy decided to plant some cool weather plants since our summer garden was a bust. Twinkie really likes lettuce, so that's what Mommy planted. She squeals and squeals for it every morning. Here is a picture of it when it was small:

It's much bigger now. Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Chivonne and Miss Julie have all eaten it. I tried it, but it doesn't taste like much. I prefer leftover kitty food, myself.

New Sister

Jeremy, Annika, Twinkie and I got a new sister a few months ago. Her name is Rosie. At first, Rosie didn't like us that much. A lot of the time she would sit in the other room instead of cuddling on the couch.

She also likes to bark a lot. That makes Mommy and Daddy irritated. Rosie doesn't see very well. She bumps into us and trees and stuff when it is dark outside. I try not to laugh but it is kind of funny. She doesn't seem to care much--she is fearless. Overall, she is a pretty good sister.
