Beds
**Annika Guest Post**
Dear Readers,
You may know about cats and beds. We make our beds wherever and whenever it is convenient and comfortable for us. If a surface is warm, soft or both, we will make our beds there. Laps are good, but laps with warm computers are better.
One of my beds is the couch pillow behind my human's head. It's warm and soft and has the added advantage of being above everyone else, which helps me show my dominance of the situation. Yesterday, the human had placed her reading material (pulp mystery novel--pttui!) upon my pillow. Rather than knock it away, I chose rather to make myself comfortable around it. I think it rather makes the point, don't you?
She moved it soon after, which restored my resting spot to its perfect state.

Workies!
Nope, that's not a typo. Daddy drove me, Jeremy and Rosie to visit Mommy at work. Whoo hoo! She works at a big garden packed with smells and nice people. I tried to scoot under the plant tables because I could smell SQUIRREL, but Mommy wouldn't let me. I found a gorgeous scarf and I tried to take it, but Mommy wouldn't let me. Mommy's friend offered me a treat, and Mommy let me!
Unfortunately, we were too busy to take pictures, so you'll have to imagine it with your mind.

Sweater
You may recall that I do NOT love sweater weather. Jeremy and Rosie don't have to wear them, so I'm not sure why I do. Sweaters feel weird on my body! However, it is cold here today and Daddy insisted:
He did give me some love to make up for forcing me into the sweater...
but as you can see from my face, I felt pretty low. I mean, it's better than my old snowman sweater, but I'm not from Norwegianland or wherever this thing comes from.
Warm weather hurry back!

Kitty Food
As you may recall, twice a week we finish off the cat's wet food. It's a super exciting event because...Kitty Food! Rosie gets so excited that she has to wait in her room until Annika finishes, or she will bite Mommy when she gets the dish off of Annika's tower. Jeremy and I, however, are patient.
Very patient.
It always pays off.
ed. note: wow, what a screen capture from the tv!

Daddy's Home!
Daddy came home after a week away. I missed him because Mommy walked us and got impatient by the end of the week. I just wanted to eat some acorns!
Anyway, Daddy slept a lot on Saturday and his naps carried over to Sunday. I'm not sure what he was doing, but it must have been exhausting. Jeremy and I helped him sleep:
Now Daddy is back to work and I have to snuggle by myself. It's not the same.
