This!

This is how we cheer Daddy up:

I'm sleeping on his butt, Jeremy's by his side, and he's watching Tropic Thunder.  I guess we could have brought him a drink or something, but I think we did a great job!

Strange Smells

Mommy came home this weekend smelling funny.  On Saturday, she and Daddy came back smelling like this thing:

I knew sort of what it was because that's what Patrick and Henry's little brother smells like: poop and milk.  Delicious!

Sunday evening, she came home smelling like this:

I'm not sure what those things are, but I know they're not prairie dogs.  What could they be?

Winter is Almost Over!

However, it is still chilly, and therefore good sleepytimes weather.  I finally got the small couch set up the way I like it, and I slept there all morning.

Here I am in curled up position:

And stretched out:

Note how I'm using the couch as a back rest.  Here's another angle:

Jeremy has another sleepytimes spot, which happens to be just below me.  Maybe he's protecting me in my sleep.

It got sunny today and we can't wait to go on our walk.  I hope my soggy pine cone dried out!

Need Pine Cones, STAT!

This has been a long, long winter.  I don't mind the cold weather, but the pine cones went missing months ago.  Every day I search in the usual places and only once in a great while do I find one.  Sometimes Mommy resorts to stealing some from the forest at work because I am so pitiful.

Whenever I do find one, I chase it for a long time, but eventually I end up chewing it up.  Yesterday I found a piece of one I'd only part-way chewed, so I got to chase it again until it fell apart.  Mommy took some pictures:

and a very similar, but different in one important way photo:

Can you spot the difference?  In the first, I got distracted and looked to my left.  In the second, laser focus on Pine Cone!

Guest Bedroom

Auntie Nessa often comes to stay, and when she does, she sleeps in the Guest Bedroom.  It has a nice big bed that Mommy usually keeps covered with a soft blankie.  When Grandma and Grandpa visited last summer, I would sneak in there for naps!

Auntie Nessa hasn't slept here for a while, yet Mommy noticed that the covers were messed up.

As if someone without opposable thumbs had tried to get under the covers.  Here's another angle:

Mommy suspects one of these two hooligans.

Oops!  That's me and Jeremy.  Hmm...I bet it's the cat.  Heehee!
